About Barn Door Photography

I’m Ian Moulson, the photographer behind Barn Door Photography. Based in Outwell, I work across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and the wider East of England, creating portraits, business photography and event coverage with a natural, observational approach.

My Approach

I prefer photographs that feel natural rather than heavily staged, although I provide clear direction when it is needed. My background in public service and healthcare has taught me to work calmly, communicate clearly and remain discreet in busy or sensitive environments.

Alongside commissioned work, I am studying for a BA in Photography through the Open College of the Arts. My personal projects explore landscape, sensory experience and hidden disability.
